Who runs this site

This is the personal professional website of Dr Fahad Rahman, an independent consultant based in Lahore, Pakistan. You can reach me at fahad@frenchresearcher.com.

Information, not advice

The articles, case studies and descriptions on this site are general information about my work and field. They are not professional advice for your situation, and reading them, emailing me or sending the contact form does not create a consulting or client relationship. A consulting engagement starts only when we both sign a written proposal or engagement letter, and that document then governs the work.

Pricing and availability

Service descriptions and pricing models on this site are indicative. Scope, fees and timelines are confirmed in writing for each engagement, and I may decline or withdraw from any enquiry.

Case studies and client names

Case studies are published with details generalised to protect clients. Client names appear only where the work is already public. Nothing here is an endorsement by any client, employer or institution unless it says so explicitly.

Intellectual property

The text, illustrations, design and code of this site belong to Dr Fahad Rahman unless marked otherwise. You may quote short passages with a link back to the source. Please ask before reproducing anything larger. Research publications are subject to their publishers’ terms, and student repositories linked from this site belong to their authors.

Links to other sites

This site links to external services such as GitHub, LinkedIn, Google Scholar, publishers and client systems. I am not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use the contact form to send spam or unlawful content. If you believe you have found a security issue, email me and I will respond.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The site is provided as it is. I try to keep it accurate and available, but I do not guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
